Jon Bengtson, Chairman
Jon Bengtson, has been a founder and director of Pinyon since its inception and was appointed Chairman of the Board in July 2007. Bengtson began his career with Harrah’s Entertainment, Inc., where he served for nine years in various management positions, including vice president of management information systems. He also worked in numerous financial and marketing roles for companies such as International Game Technology. The Sands Regent Hotel Casino and Radica Games Limited. Bengtson was also a founder and chief financial officer of ShareGate, Inc., a venture funded telecommunications equipment company from March 1996 until October 2001. He holds a bachelors degree in business administration and a master of business administration from the University of Nevada, Reno. |
Debashis Bagchi, President & CEO
As president and CEO, Debashis Bagchi brings over 15 years of experience in the RF, telecommunications, semiconductor software and gaming industries as a businessman, entrepreneur, strategist and inventor. Prior to Pinyon, Bagchi served as the chairman of the board of ShareGate – a residential gateway equipment provider. He also led ShareGate as the company’s CEO where he raised $30M of venture money from Silicon Valley venture capitalists and also established important strategic relationships with service providers and telecom equipment manufacturers. At ShareGate, he was instrumental in growing a team from its initial headcount of 4 to a headcount of over 100 and recruited the appropriate executive management, administrative, and engineering teams. During that time, he co-authored two patents both of which has been granted and issued by the United States Patent and Trademark Office. Bagchi holds a bachelor of science degree from Lucknow University, India.

Forrest Wolf, Vice President of Product Development
As vice president of Product Development, Forrest Wolf brings more than 30 years of technical, operational and management experience in startup, strategic planning, engineering, operations, customer service and training. Prior to joining Pinyon, Wolf managed engineering teams as director for International Game Technology and Bally Technologies and as manager of an operations team for ShareGate Inc.

Gerardo Gonzalez, Managing Director of Sales
As managing director of Sales, Gerardo Gonzalez brings over 20 years of experience in technical sales and sales management in the strategic and consultative sales process necessary for developing strategic and long term customer partnerships. He also brings experience in marketing, networking and telecom integrated circuit solutions to industry leading companies. At AMD he managed a country-wide manufacturer’s representative in Mexico. Attaining an increased 1999 processor market share in Mexico of 19 percent, increasing market share against Intel beyond the 15 percent worldwide benchmark. At Globespan/Virata, Gonzalez successfully established partnerships with leading CPE manufacturers with a protocol stack solution leading to a sales run rate of $16 million per year. Gonzalez holds a bachelor of science in Electrical Engineering and an arts bachelor for Spanish Literature from Stanford University.
